How does BGG handle advertising impressions lost due to down time. I
have advertisements on BGG for my Kickstarter campaign that is ending
this weekend. This downtime couldn't have happened at a worse time
for me. Hopefully it will be back up soon.

Anyway, if the mods allow this post, check out my kickstarter at

I feell your pain.

But look at the bright side.
With BGG down I went to look at some of the other places I visit less
frequent.
One of those was kickstarter to check out other interesting projects.

I'm sure there are more geeks out there who do the same.

Looks like your campaign is doing ok. :)

I'm sure BGG will be up by tomorrow and you can plug away that your campaign is almost over and try to get some late hour additions.

I'm off to look at KS now to see what's going over there.

I think we all need to realize BGG isn't a Mom & Pop operation anymore.

From IT to the Admins (apologies), BGG needs to grow from the buddy system to something resembling a social network in the teens of the 21st Century.

The only reason this downtime is acceptable is there's really nowhere else to go.

That's part of the problem. If there was somewhere else to go, this wouldn't happen.

Yep, if there was somewhere else to go, like F:AT, or CSW, BGG's
hardware would crap out. Glad to know it.

Mo other site compares to BGG.

I'm happy to wait for the admins to complete their work.  As someone who has been through this many times, I know it must be killing them.  My thoughts and sympathies are with them.

Gunship is another kickstarter campaign that ends tonight. I'm not
affiliated with it, other than just becoming a backer.

That blows!

Other Kickstarts are ending this weekend too like Gunship

Maybe BGG will give you a free month of advertising credit for this?

Man, those chips look nice. Wish I wasn't strapped for cash right now
or I would definitely be jumping in on this to get a set.

I pledged for some chips if that helps!
