to BGG Down
Did you know: if you need to see a page from BGG, you may still be
able to access it while the site is down. Use Google's cache feature
thusly:

Search Google for a board game (e.g., Battlestar Galactica)

Click on the arrow to the right of the BGG page and a preview will
appear. Above the preview is a link called 'cached.' Click this and
you'll see an old version of the page. Even more obscure threads will
work (e.g., a search for "Defenders of the Realm darkness spreads
cards" brings up the DotR forum)

Today I was registering to run some games at a local con, and I was
able to pull the descriptions from BGG using this method.

Good luck, and may the force be with you during this outage.

Great advice.

You can actually get to a lot of content on BGG like that.

You can just search for any game page in Google... go to the cached version of that game page and then right click to save a copy of any other link on that cached page and search for that in google.... find the cache for that page... etc etc... drilling as deep into the cache as you want.

It's definitely extra work but you can be creative and find a lot of content on the site that's not much more than a few days old.
