Greetings, all. As you may be aware, longtime Kids on the Block Executive Director Debbie Hays will be leaving the organization after a decade of service. She has accepted a new challenge with the United Way. As the community certainly begins to congratulate her and celebrate the great work she has done to expand and grow KOB, we also must turn to finding a successor.
That's the reason for this email. As President of KOB for 2013, I am asking that you help the KOB Board share the attached Job Description with those you feel might be interested. Each of you has a unique position in the community; you probably can think of three or four people with little effort who might consider apply for the position of Executive Director.
Simply put, we hope you will share this email as appropriate. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and administration of programs in schools statewide as well as community and fund development.
