Hey john

could you post this a couple times on bgBa...@googlegroups.com?

Hi all

i removed my name from bgBass-L before i could do some of the final management tasks associated with killing a list and starting a new one. so i am on bgBASS-L and unable to post on it. weird.

the BGbass-L list is unmonitored and all addresses remaining on it are subject to harvesting for spam. there are no virus protections, and there is no way for me to shut it down as i was kicked off with a peculiarity in how it works. i used to moderate ite it, catch all the spam, and redirect it. if your name is on the list, i twill eventually get your email addresss.

i will turn tha list off in a week--totally--once i figure out how.

the bassfiddle@googlegroups list has more members, offers spam protection and moderation (that ensures we dont get nutcases posting drivel on the list) and allows you to turn it on and off while on vacation.

feel free to use bgBass-L but it doesnt have most of the 'big names' on it anymore--they are in bassfiddle-L now.

sorry for the inconvenience.

kip

This list was replaced (rather unsuccessfully) with
bassfi...@googlegroups.com.

Just my thoughts!

We could talk about:

Musicians not paying their taxes.
Musicians without health care.
Musicians and their choices.
Musicians being socialists.
Musicians and how hard life is.
Musicians thinking they are owed something by society.

Oh, Im sorry.  That has already been covered!

Sully

ps to Tom G.  I told you at Cabin Fever I would try to get something
started.
