Just put a set of Innovation Super Silvers on my old Kay bass. So far they
sound pretty good.
Anyone else has tried these strings?

I just put a set of Innovation Rockabillys (the black ones) on my
Englehardt. I'm told they're pretty similar to the Super Silvers. I
love them. Bass player for the Farewell Drifters told me about them.

I played a couple of basses at SPBMA that had these strings.  Loved them---want some!!  But I couldn't remember the name, so thanks for the post.

I haven't tried Innovation strings yet. But I played Andy Dye's ( Midnight Flight) '56 Kay and I fell in love with his strings.
To my surprize they were Supernil 7710's. They are the black tape wound and they sound and feel great. I've had them on my Englehart for about 6 months now. I'm very happy with them.

I believe the 7710's are called Black Nylon.  They are made by LaBella, which also makes Supernil, but that is a different line.
