The Quality Engineering team at Red Hat (http://www.redhat.com) is
looking for fulltime engineers to search for, analyze, report, track
defects and verify bug fixes. This position will primarily focus on
testing and verifying proper operation of the virtual memory management
and process management subsystems of the Linux kernel. Responsibilities
include writing test programs, developing test scripts, executing test
cases, debugging software problems, and operating automated test tools.

Quality Engineer - Kernel (Virtual Memory Management and Process
Management Testing)
Job Requirements:
- College degree in a technical field and/or relevant experience.
- Strong Linux and scripting skills.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical skills.
- Intermediate C programming skills with a focus on operating systems
programming or testing.
- Intermediate written and spoken English skills.
- Must be a flexible self-starter who can come up to speed quickly with
new technologies and can adapt to a growing and evolving team.
- Passion for quality and an eye for detail.
- Experience with function testing, stress and load testing.
Quality Engineer - Kernel (Driver Update Testing)
Job Requirements:
- College degree in a technical field and/or relevant experience.
- Strong skills and background in Linux.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical skills.
- Intermediate scripting skills.
- Intermediate written and spoken English skills.
- Must be a flexible self-starter who can come up to speed quickly with
new technologies and can adapt to a growing and evolving team.
- Strong passion and desire for testing and examining how things work
internally.
- Direct experience testing software under Unix/Linux.
Quality Engineer - Kernel (General)
Job Requirements:
- College degree in a technical field and/or relevant experience.
- Strong skills and background in Linux.
