The Town appreciates the hard work of this committee, however we do not feel
that it is good use of our time to attend these meetings due to the
preliminary stage we are at with the Sudbury portion of the trail. As we
stated in the beginning, we cannot commit to Sudbury embracing uniform
design, as we haven't had any public discussions on the issue. When the
appropriate time comes, I am sure we will benefit from the decisions of the
committee, and will likely utilize some of the uniform standards that you
adopt. But we feel that our participation is very limited on most issues,
and therefore we will be suspending our membership on the committee at this
time. The Rail Trial Conversion Advisory Committee may continue to attend,
however they have not been appointed by the Board of Selectmen or the Town
Manager to speak on Sudbury's behalf.
