Currently I am borrowing my friends Quest 2 and it will teleport me around when you're not supposed to be able to without my will. It has been doing this for around 2 weeks now and every single time I get into the Oculus Hub it will teleport me to crazy spots your not supposed to be able to get to and when I'm creating a boundary it would teleport me outside my boundary without me wanting to. To elaborate, I'll be standing completely still and it will teleport me across the Hub and I will be able to see the Oculus controller models about 20 ft in front of me when they're in my hand. when I try to play games like job simulator it will teleport me around it in that game or not allowed to move around and it is making it impossible to play games and have fun.

Hey there, @TheBiggestNate! We completely know how this could be affecting your game play, and we comprehend how annoying it could be as well. Please let us know if you have done any troubleshooting on the headset, and to get a better understanding of what's causing the game to be teleporting you around without your permission, let us ask a few questions.

We appreciate you letting us know and we were wondering if you have done any troubleshooting steps yet. As we see this is affecting the overall play we wanted to see if you would try rebooting the headset?

However, if you see the issue persist we do recommend doing a Factory Reset as this will reset everything. Just make sure to ask your friend before hand if this is okay. First , we want to make sure your Cloud Backup is on as this will save the data on your VR device.

Once this is done you can go ahead and perform the Factory Reset by clicking the link here and for the Cloud Backup steps they are here! Please let us know if this helped we will be patiently waiting for your update.

Hey @someone_9904. Teleporting without you causing the movement can definitely be frustrating. Not to worry we are going to make sure we can get you playing without any problems. If you haven't already, can you please try the troubleshooting steps that we provided in the thread already? If you have and they didn't help, would like for you to send us a PM so we can look into what other options we have for you.

Hello!
Im having the same exact problem and ive done all the trouble shooting that i can to try to make it work. i have valve trackers and every time that i teleport i have to recalibrate. it just started doing this last night.

Hey there, @Anonymous. Thanks for reaching out and bringing your teleporting troubles to our attention. We know that something like this can bring your VR time to a standstill, and we would like to help you with this. We would like to provide some troubleshooting steps that we believe may be beneficial to you.

Go to Settings
Go to Controller Settings.
Under Joystick Deadzone and Range, select the joystick which is having issue.
Follow on-screen instructions to recalibrate the joysticks deadzones

I also have this teleporting back effect after every 10 seconds of running. So i just thought it was just the server. But my sister also plays and when it was icbt2 i was playing with my Alienware 18 inch laptop but this time im playing with my new rig that i built verry recently. Im getting the teleporting effect while my sister playing with my Alienware does not get it. In fact when playing on the alienware its looks so much more smooth and less twitchy than my Rig. My Alienware is an i7 dont know which one and 2x GTX 770m SLI. While my rig is a i7 6700k with a GTX 980TI. There should be no way Alienware laptop could outperform my rig. I dont know why its happening to me and not her. We both plug in Ethernet as well so its not out internet connection issue. Im assuming its out hardware that is creating this teleport effect

I just found something, got a program called Gamefirst III by ROG installed on my machine, I can manage my bandwidth priority on my games with it, it seems to fix my problem.
I need to test it more.

Okay, so I tried incorporating that and it was having me teleporting if I was anywhere but the destination block (-148, 4, -80). Then I had to do stuff and came back to try again, and now it does nothing. Maybe I should try storing each coordinate to compare outside of the if statement? Or does that not make much of a difference?

After an opponent kills you in Fortnite, you are left spectating them (or some other players, depending on the circumstances). You can watch this player for the rest of the match if you'd like, but even if you don't want to, you'll still end up spectating for around half a minute or so as the next match is found and loaded.

A Reddit user who goes by the name 'PxRedditor5' recently shared a video on the FortniteBR subreddit that shows them spectating a bot. The machine player is seen running into a wall, then suddenly teleporting to a new region beyond this area. The video is proof that bots can teleport in Fortnite, explaining why they have a habit of suddenly appearing nearby when you're certain no one was there.

The teleporting video does raise some new questions, however. Players are wondering under what circumstances a bot will teleport -- do the bots only do this when they get stuck somewhere they can't escape, such as the basement we see in the video above?

Or are the bots a bit more crafty than that, teleporting to places where players are located to ensure they're somewhere they can be picked off? The latter seems most likely given the frequency with which these bots tend to appear in new places. Some players report having seen a bot materialize in front of them, which would indicate that they are being sent to places where human players are located.

"Fortnite Battle Royale" players are slowly getting bored with the first season of Chapter 2. Season 1 was originally supposed to end in December 2019, after kicking off in October of the same year. However, Epic Games has decided to extend it, but what makes things worse is that the current season was extended by two months! Players will get Chapter 2, Season 2 on most likely February 6, which is just around two weeks away.

In the meantime, players are still trying to have fun in the current season. Most recently, two popular "Fortnite Battle Royale" streamers have discovered a teleporting exploit while teaming up together.

This exploit is amazing and players need to be beside a zipline to use it. It will be interesting to see if Epic Games will fix it before the second season of the chapter, but considering that the exploit can help players drastically, we can expect a fix for it to come out soon.

Dennis "Cloak" Lepore and Brett "Dakotaz" Hoffman have recently teamed up in "Fortnite Battle Royale" and discovered a massive exploit players can do with ziplines. Ziplines have been in the game since Season 7, and while players did not like them at first, there is no doubt that they have grown to like them. This mobility option is very useful when running away from the storm and quickly moving over the island.

However, the exploit wouldn't be that amazing if it wasn't for the other way players could use them. Apparently, players can teleport to ziplines when being under them as well. For example, if players are by Lazy Lake and they use the waterfall to go lower, they can simply look up, aim at the zipline, and press the Use button to teleport to them.

Epic Games has disabled ziplines in "Fortnite Battle Royale" on January 20. This is most likely due to the exploit, and we can expect the game developer to fix it very soon. There is a good chance that the fix will not require an update, but it will be fixed in a hotfix. Considering that the exploit allows players to teleport relatively far away, it's a good thing that Epic Games is working on fixing it.

Instant Transmission (瞬しゅん間かん移い動どう, Shunkan Idō, lit. "Instantaneous Movement", also translated as "Teleportation") is a technique for traveling long distances instantly. It was taught to Goku when he was on Planet Yardrat after his deadly battle with Frieza.

This action is usually accompanied by the user placing his index and middle fingers on their forehead to help themself concentrate, though if extra time is taken the technique can be performed without this aid. When used by Yardrats and those who gained the technique thanks to them, it is achieved via Spirit Control.

Instant Transmission allows the user and anyone that is in physical contact with them to instantly travel great distances (from meters to light-years, between the living world and Other World, or even travel outside time itself) just by concentrating on a particular individual's ki signature and transmitting or feeling that being's location. The user can rematerialize anywhere within a short range of their target.
