The 16th International Conference of Biomedical Ontology (ICBO 2025) will be held virtually over Zoom.
We are interested in all topics related to ontologies and knowledge representation in biomedicine, biology, and life sciences. Topics include but are not limited to:

Novel biomedical ontologies and extensions of existing ontologies, as well as graph databases, knowledge graphs
Ontology Engineering: Methodologies, techniques and practices, composition, modularity, evaluation, and validation

Ontology tools: visualization, building, reasoning, evaluation, knowledge discovery
Ontology governance, sustainability, and FAIR data principles
