For $18 you get a reserved slot for 1 year.
So if you turn up and there are public players on it they will get
kicked. If all players are already members then you would have to go
to a different server. They expect to have 2 or 3 servers or enough
slots over multiple servers to cover everyone.
I'm not a console person myself.
