The Blurb
Agile Metrics: The paradox of Agile Metrics is that we are not too concerned with the Metrics of Agile. What we are concerned with is measuring the success of the organization. This talk will focus on the challenges of measuring the innovative cycle of Agile software development and the key metrics agile teams can track to give a better understanding success. We will also focus on what metrics work and what don't and how to create a consistent focus on metrics that everyone in the organization can understand.
Bio
Ryan Polk is an Agile Coach, CSM and PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner.
As an Agile Coach with Rally Software Ryan enjoys the opportunity to help software teams of all sizes adopt Agile and Lean practices in an effort to build better software through communication and behavior.
With over 16 years of experience in the software development field Ryan has held almost every position imaginable in software teams. He has coached over 50 teams and over 500 developers in both Agile and Lean Software Development. As an accomplished agile evangelist and code craftsman Ryan has presented at a diverse list of agile conferences and is a regular contributor at agile conferences and software user groups.

- What's BeyondAgile?
It's the Puget Sound-area group for meeting and learning from others who are building software using Agile, Lean, and other innovative approaches.

We generally meet on the *4th* Wednesday of the month, unless we have a chance to grab a fantastic presenter on another date.

In a valiant attempt to be as reachable for as many in the Puget Sound tech community as possible, we're trying out meeting north of Seattle in Bothell, thanks to the hospitality of Vertafore.
