Middle Class, exploits children / Nick Dubin

The middle class exploits children. It uses them. They have children in order to justify themselves. To be middle class is not to be of a certain income level or lifestyle. Rather it is how one has built their identity. It is a way of thinking, an ideology.

So for those of us who's lives have been shaped by this exploitation, we really have only two choices. First we can become part of it and do like our parents did. Second we can continue to allow ourselves to be stepped on. This includes things like psychotherapy and going along with concepts like learning disabilities or mental illness or innate moral defect, and then also that denial system known as "Live and Let Live."

Well I don't play any of those games. So I am opening a third alternative. I strike back.

Two years ago the opportunity to get involved in the case of a Pentecostal man who was molesting his daughters unfolded right in front of me. How many times in one's life does such an opportunity occur?

So right away I started reading up on it, the guy's published writings, the case file, and other stuff to help me better understand. With many twists and turns which I never expected, I did get to have a much larger role in getting him convicted and imprisoned than I had ever imagined possible.

I don't advertise this guy's name, because his name is the same as his daughters. But I never stop talking about his church, because they were supporting him, by calling the girls liars, and because just as this guy was blacksheeping his eldest daughter, these church people all seem to have blacksheep in their own families. Under the surface of all of this, I am certain there is child exploitation.

So I am counting this guy as my first 'scalp'. Basically this means bragging rights.

So now I want to mobilize a band of comrades and start making more strikes, and over a broader geographical area. I want to intercede in familial conflicts on behalf of the children. I want to get law suits going on behalf of the children. I want the children to win, and the parents to be made into public examples. I want to expose psychotherapists who get people to punch pillows, instead of striking back, and I want to put these therapists out of action. I want to force the removal of school administrators who allow bullying to continue. I want to discredit all ideas about learning disabilities and psychiatric conditions, as well as the ways Evangelicals use Original Sin. Instead I want to hold the parents accountable.

The middle class will continue to exploit children, and those of us who have been so exploited will continue to have no place in the world, until we start banding together and striking back. So I am looking for comrades, as we are going to be striking back.

What I have been reading is "The Autism Spectrum, Sexuality and the Law", by Tony Attwood, Isabelle Henault, and Nick Dubin.

I take very strong exception to everything they are saying. Though I'm glad Dubin didn't end up in prison. And I think they should have gone even easier on him than they did.

I'll be talking more about this book, but for now I want to consider some of it's references. There are lots and lots of books by this Australian Tony Attwood, and I cannot stand him.

This kind of a book I do think could be useful, because it is not intended to make a Gifted Child Persecution Survivor be more pitiful. It is intended for an intimate partner who is having a hard time understanding. Really, what it should do is begin the process of dismantling muggle culture and it's social expectations.

Although I find all of it extremely interesting, I don't agree with any of it and I don't take any of it at face value.

This may look more enlightened, but I still don't agree with it. These people are not on any wrong planet. They have simply gotten caught in a bad way of dealing with this planet. They are seeking pity, in promoting this idea of a neurological difference, instead of banding together and kicking some ass and making it known that anyone who tries to cause a problem for them will be very sorry. It starts with the family, the muggle schools, and the white coats. They should strike some severe blows against each of these three.

I think this is great. We needed this. Saul lists a whole bunch of things which are being miscategorized as ADHD, but as should be obvious, it is mostly Autism, Aspergers, Bipolar, and Schizophrenia.

Okay, so ADHD does not exist, and this the truth. But the truth is also that none of these other things exist either.

The above book looks better, but we also have:

This all jives with what I quoted from Peter Breggin's "Beyond Conflict". But he goes even further in his earlier book, "Toxic Psychiatry", 1991, saying that the earlier work on Autism, Leo Kanner etal, was abandoned for purely political reasons. The autism advocacy groups are defensive formations of parents trying to protect themselves from accusations.


And remember, with the Pentecostal Molester, I helped the state prosecute and imprison him. This educated a cadre of police, prosecutors, judges and jurors. But I never would have gotten involved in this without first convincing myself that if I lived in a different sort of a society that I would follow the example of the abolitionist John Brown, and drag the guy from his home and kill him out on the sidewalk with my own hands.

And of course, those who accept this idea that they have Autism / Aspergers are going to be seen as asexual. They have been taught to live by making appeals to pity.

The one who at least tried to show why this is wrong was Alice Miller. She showed that the Narcissistic Wound is not something which just happens or in unavoidable. It is caused by the willful and volitional actions of an adult who has had a child in order to use them.

So of course it follows then from this that we should strike back, and not let such injustice be exploited as a weakness for further attacks by the muggle culture.
