Zahi Hawass has announced that the mummy of Queen Seshet has been
found at Sakkara in the recently uncovered remains of her pyramid. The
mummy was robbed in antiquity the robbers leaving the mummy in pieces.
Portions of gold finger stalls used for royalty were found in the
sarcophagus. Hawass stated that although no hieroglyphic evidence was
found to confirm the mummy was Seshets there is enough evidence to
make it likely that it is the body of the 6th dynasty Queen
