An article in Time Magazine states that King's Tutankhamun's penis was
stolen to prevent the boy Kings image from being embarrased due to its
small size.In the article researcher Jo Marchant who is investigating
the possiblilty Tutankhamun's family suffered from a genetic disorder
that caused them to have large head and small sexual organs raised
this speculation although Zahi Hawass has confirmed that Tut's penis
was relocated during his ct scan and that Tut was well endowed. What
Ms Marchant forgets is that the mummification process removes all
moisture from tissue and there would be significant shrinkage of the
royal member. Time Magazine and Ms Marchant appear to have decided it
was a very slow news day and presumably will become persona non grata
with Doctor Hawass for such a ridiculous article.
