I am writing this mail to invite you to participate and share your experiences at our NSEF - Villgro Idea Conference to be held on August 17th in Chennai at Loyola Institute of Business Administration. Here is a brief overview about the Idea Conference:
In an effort to create more social entrepreneurs, encourage social innovation and provide a platform for young people to gain exposure about various social innovations, different facets of social entrepreneurship in India and a place to discuss ideas on social issues and solutions NSEF plans to conduct Idea Conferences in colleges across India. Through Idea Conference, NSEF plans to create a thriving ecosystem of social entrepreneurship, which will serve multiple purposes of:
a. Spreading ideas about the innovations and existing models that are acting as change agents in the society.
b. Triggering ideas in young people which can lead to social enterprises.
c. Nurturing the next generation of innovators to solve problems at the bottom of pyramid and ultimately create the next cohort of leaders who will lead the movement in the development sector.
I take pleasure in inviting you to speak and mentor students’ ideas at NSEF - Villgro Idea Conference between 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM on August 17th 2011 on the topic “Young Professionals to drive Indian Social Entrepreneurship Sector and hence Social Innovation in the next decade.”
The event will be held at the campus of, Loyola Institute of Business Administration, Chennai.
