Dear Small Group leaders, could you kindly disseminate this out to your Small Group?
Hi, hope this mail finds you longing to be in fellowship. You would have noticed that this year there are not many opportunities for us to bond together as a church for we are having less and less combined services. The upcoming opportunity is our church camp. It’s on the 5th to 8th of June and we have gotten an excellent venue – not too far for travelling (it’s in Malacca) and the hotel facilities is ace for us to bond (breakfast next to swimming pool, morning devotion also next to swimming pool), fruit fiesta with the die-for durians waiting to prick you. And if you are looking for some family time together without having to travel out, the hotel (Equatorial Malacca) is smack in the middle of everything – shopping malls, Malacca historical places, Christ Church, Portuguese Ford, boat ride, 10 minutes walk to the famous Jonker Street, top of the range Chendol, unbelievable Chicken Rice that comes in balls form, etc etc.
Honestly, the response has been quite bad this year. We need another 120 folks to even out the account. The committee has been working hard for the success of camp and without you their work is in vain. Kindly consider rounding up your family and friends for this Year’s CCMC CAMP with Rev Dr TRAC President of Malaysia. “He is an inspirational speaker,” thus saith Pastor David Wee. I know you will be blessed...and so would I!
We are extending the early bird till end of this Sunday. Yes, early bird waiting just for you! Bring along your cheque book and book a “value for money” bonding time with God’s children. Oh, if you can’t go up on Friday and needing transportation, the committee is arranging another bus to get you up there on Saturday morning. If no bus, they will get you there. Don’t worry.
