folks

as you know, we're going to unveil our first Better South policy book next week.

In your state, I need help in getting names of key movers and shakers to send the book to.

If you can send me two kinds of names, I'd appreciate it:

1.  Key media players -- the key editorial writers or political/budget reporters in your state.

2.  Key political observers -- the kind of folks reporters interview to talk about budgets, economy and politics.

Thanks.  Pls send before Friday.

Best,

Andy

Hey Andy -

At the Chattanooga Times Free Press, you'll want to send it to the following:

Harry Austin - Chattanooga Times Editorial Page Editor
(hau...@timesfreepress.com)
Michael Davis - Political Writer (mich...@timesfreepress.com)

Address:
400 East 11th Street
Chattanooga, TN 37403

Their Nashville reporter is Andy Sher (as...@timesfreefpress.com) -
don't know a physical address for their Nashville bureau.

You'll also want to send a copy to Ed Cromer, the editor of the
Tennessee Journal. Don't have a physical address for him, but his
e-mail is ecr...@mleesmith.com.

In terms of economic gurus in Tennessee, there is none bigger than Dr.
Bill Fox at the University of Tennessee. His group is called the
Center for Business and Economic Research. Also in his group is Matt
Murray, who is quoted almost as often as Fox is.

Bill Fox/Matt Murray
Center for Business and Economic Research
The University of Tennessee
101 Temple Court
804 Volunteer Boulevard
Knoxville, TN 37996-4334

Hope these are helpful.
