[BetterNepal] Special adviser for global youth issues arrives in Kathmandu

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s Special Advisor for Global Youth Issues, Ranan Farrow, arrived here in the Capital for a four-day visit.

According to a press statement by the US Embassy in Kathmandu, Farrow will meet with youth activists, students, politicians and media representatives.

A lawyer and former human rights advocate and journalist, Mr. Farrow assumed his current role following two years as the State Department’s Special Adviser for Humanitarian and NGO Affairs in the Office of the Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, overseeing the U.S. Government’s relationships with civil society and non-governmental actors.
