Has anyone used protective or mirrored tinting in their entrance hall or on their staircase? We have glass doors, and you can always see who is coming and going. We want to obscure the view a little to make it more peaceful, but we're not sure if it will help.

We encountered the same issue in our building: completely transparent doors, as if you were living in a shop window. On the advice of our neighbours, we contacted the specialists from here https://www.tintfit.com/shop/ , who suggested mirror film specifically for entrances. They installed it quickly and neatly: from the outside, only the reflection is visible, while from the inside, everything can be seen normally. Plus, the film strengthened the glass, making it less susceptible to impact and accidental damage. At the same time, the room itself did not become darker, the light passes through well, but a sense of privacy appeared immediately. The solution is inexpensive, and it feels like we installed a new door.
