Hide Chat not working

I'm running FF4 on Win 7, but for some reason the Hide Chat function
has no effect whatsoever. I've tried a specific user script as well as
the option in Better Gmail 2, but the Chat stays displayed no matter
what? Anyone else with this issue, or something else I can try? Thanks.

I suggest that this feature doesn't work because of recent update of gmail interface (maybe they changed Chat container name or something?)

Same here its not working on Win7 FF4, hiding invitations is working
though.
