It is very simple the current S7000A law has no income limits and strict growth limits. 

They are proposing to reverse S7000A completely. To turn it on its head. 

Their proposal will allow your taxes grow unlimited with no caps. And your exemptions are strictly limited by low income levels of $58,000

First of all the proposal should be to just keep what we have. To quote John Procida.  "S7000A is a good law it just needs to include co-ops and condos"
John is one of the fathers of S7000A the property tax law that protects us

But if we must make any change then the exemption upper limit should be $500,000.
