Hi! Built a new PC and installed a legitimately purchased copy of Windows 11 a couple months ago (ironic perhaps). Since then, whenever I download a .torrent file with a web browser (using Opera and sometimes Chrome), it immediately disappears without giving any notification or message. Never had an issue with this before, not in any previous version of Windows. I have turned off every option in Windows Defender and added my downloads folder to my safe list, still happening. I do not have any extra antivirus software installed. Not using a VPN or proxy. The files are not getting automatically added and deleted or moved anywhere by qbittorrent. All those types of options are turned off. Cannot for the life of me figure out what's going on. Magnet links open fine in qBittorrent. Always using the latest version. Any ideas??
binary file consists of machine instructions the processor can understand.Your operating system does not mean the same executable will run.move back and forth between the processor instruction set compatible with will usually work well,if they are not compatible CPU will not be able to understand instructions.
Use the serial number you have received to convert the trial version to a full version. The serial number starts with the number 1143. You receive the serial number depending on the type of purchase:

I can't open a file I need because I keep getting this message "The contents of __________.exe cannot be extracted with The Unarchiver. I don't know how to open this application in another place, or where to go to open this file.
That said, it is possible with some DOS/Windows apps to create an .exe file that is a self extracting archive. What those apps actually do is create a standard .zip file, then wrap it in a small amount of code that extracts the zipped data when you run the app. It was useful for the computer inept to extract an archive they received without having to even know how to unzip a file.
Just to stress one more time. This a program. If it were a self-extracting archive, the Unarchiver would have worked with this file as is. When you run this in Windows, it will do whatever the app is written to do.
I ran a full scan in Malwarebytes and it found nothing. I also ran a scan in Safe Mode an it found nothing. Now when a run a full scan with Windows defender and Malwarebytes it doesnt find anything but in Protection history (Windows Defender) it still shows Wacatac.H!ml as remedition incomplete. I'm not sure is it still there or not? What should I do next?
While you are waiting for the next qualified/approved malware removal expert helper to weigh in on your topic, and even though you may have run one or more of its following procedural steps, please carefully follow the instructions within the following:
STEP 03
Please download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.
Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. You can check here if you're not sure if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit
Computer runs normally it isn't slow anymore. There were no alerts, detections, or indications of an infection. The only thing I forgot to mention is when I ran a full scan with Microsoft Safety Scanner while it was scaning it said there was 1 files infected but when it finished scanning I got a message that nothing was detected. I was told to ignore that so I guess that is also fine.
The Windows NT and Windows 2000 Resource Kits come with a number ofcommand-line tools that help you administer your Windows NT/2K systems.Over time, I've grown a collection of similar tools, including some notincluded in the Resource Kits. What sets these tools apart is that theyall allow you to manage remote systems as well as the local one. Thefirst tool in the suite was PsList, a tool that lets you view detailedinformation about processes, and the suite is continually growing. The"Ps" prefix in PsList relates to the fact that the standard UNIX processlisting command-line tool is named "ps", so I've adopted this prefix forall the tools in order to tie them together into a suite of tools namedPsTools.
Some anti-virus scanners report that one or more of the tools are infected with a "remote admin" virus. None of the PsTools contain viruses, but they have been used by viruses, which is why they trigger virus notifications.
Enjoy cleaner, faster online browsing. Delete browser files and data automatically, disable trackers, and block malicious websites. Load pages faster by disabling pop-ups with ad-block, and stop your PC slowing down when you browse online by optimizing its performance.
Hive Keychain is an extension for accessing Hive-enabled distributed applications, or "dApps" in your Chromium or Firefox browser! The extension injects the Hive Keychain API into every website's javascript context, so that dApps can read from the blockchain.Hive Keychain also lets the user create and manage their own identities, so when a dApp wants to perform a transaction and write to the blockchain, the user gets a secure interface to review the transaction, before approving or rejecting it.Because it adds functionality to the normal browser context, Hive Keychain requires the permission to read and write to any webpage. You can always "view the source" of Hive Keychain the way you do any Chrome extension, or view the source code on Github: -keychain/hive-keychain-extension
This build also enhances on the global hot keys, two new hot keys have been added "Alt + Break" to bring the sandman window in front with the top most flag set, and "Ctrl + Alt + F" to toggle disabling of forced processes, furthermore the terminate all (panic hotkey) hot key "Shift + Break" has been improved, individual sandboxes can be configured to be excluded from a blanket global terminate all command, however when the panic hotkey is invoked 3 times with < 1 sec between presses it will terminate all boxed processes, no exceptions.
Sandboxie-Plus 1.11.x comes with a new component ImBox.exe which in combination with new service and driver mechanisms enables exciting new functionality. The ImBox.exe is a block device proxy for the ImDisk driver (which can be installed using the add-on manager introduced in 1.10.x) and is capable of creating dynamic RAMDisks as well as mounting Encrypted Box Images using DiskCryptor's robust and reliable AES-XTS implementation.
The RAMDisks integration is available to all project supporters with a valid supporter certificate, it allows for seamless RAMDisk usage once configured on the add-on options settings page and enabled for selected sandboxes. The RAMDisk can be mounted without a drive letter providing a seamless experience, the appropriate Folders on the shared RAMDisk are linked to the default box root folder locations. The RAMDisk is NOT persistent this means that all data stored on the RAMDisk vanish once the system is rebooted, making such a sand box ideal to store transient confidential data.
The Encrypted Box Image feature uses encrypted container files to store a boxes root directory (containing all files and the boxes registry hive) the mounted encrypted volume is by default guarded by the driver such that only processes runnign within the sandbox (and essential sbie+ components) can access the files stored on that volume. In combination with the "ConfidentialBox=y" option, host process read access to sandboxed processes memory is effectively blocked, ensuring no rogue process on the host can access confidential data in RAM belonging to sandboxed processes. The combination of this mechanisms creates secure enclaves, which ensure data processed within an enclave can not leak to the host (except for user configured OpenFilePath locations) and is protected even when the host would to be compromised (only adversaries which obtained kernel level privileges can bypass these mechanisms).
Enhanced Security with SbieDrv: Our innovative use of SbieDrv actively prevents processes that don't belong to the sandbox from accessing an encrypted sandbox's root folder. Your data remains isolated and protected.
