Surely EVERYONE has summer stories and pictures of their own, so apologies if this is merely annoying. But I took about a thousand pictures on our trip to Yellowstone, and I'm determined to break them into manageable groups and match them up with tales from the road and keep postin' em til I can't post no more.
First two installments are now ready for your viewing/reading pleasure, if you so choose:
Number one, which could be titled, "Oh my lord are you seriously going to drive 1000 miles in a van with four kids what were you thinking!" but is instead called "ARE WE THERE YET?." Some slight profanity, but nothing that a five-year-old (okay, MY five-year-old) wouldn't say.
And number two: would you believe our road trip actually took us to extraterrestrial landscapes and lava tubes, and that we saw real live SNOW, up close, on a 90 degree day? All true, more or less. Read about it and see the pretty cool pictures here, in Skating on the Moon.
