TGI Last Day of School

Not as if I get the summer off or anything, but still I'm glad it's the very last day of school. The end of the school year wipes me out, and this last week has been a doozy. Boo died yesterday. Eli's Little League team is in the playoffs (do or die championship tonight) and summer ball is gearing up. Stayed up until 2:30 a.m. last night purportedly cleaning the house for a party tonight, but really spending more time writing this damn post, which I could not for the life of me get right.   Sending it to you anyway, hoping to wipe the slate clean and embark on a summer that's more adventurous and balanced than the past weeks and months. (Starting tonight, I hope, with an Albany Twins victory.)
