Sub: Urgent financial support for Mrs Shaiji Thomas (ICU Khoula Hospital)

Respected Sir,

We have received a request from Mr. Thomas K O whose wife, Mrs.Shaiji has been admitted to Khoula hospital ICU following serious complications after delivery.

Mrs. Shaiji delivered a baby boy on 1^st April’12. Subsequent to the delivery, severe bleeding started and shortly she went into coma stage. Her condition continues to be critical since then and there is no commendable improvement so far! Going by her present state, it may take minimum 6 months to retrieve her consciousness and hence, Doctors recommend taking her to India for better treatment. Meanwhile, the new borne has also developed some ailments and the baby is also under treatment now.

Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Shaiji have elder son studying in 8^th standard at Indian School Muscat. Mr. Thomas working as Cook under American Embassy’s visa on contract basis (Mob: 95895623) is unable to meet the hospital expenses and the ticket cost for transporting her wife to Kerala for onward treatment at Amritha Hospital, Kochi. The hospital bill as on 18^thApril is approximate RO.5000/- in addition to the ticket fare to Kochi.

Hence, he is requesting all kind hearted to extend a helping hand for him to clear the hospital bills and to arrange the air ticket.

This being a genuine case and since Mr. Thomas is meeting his day today expenses by the help of his friends, we would request your help by any means to support this ill fated family.
