Performances by singers Jonas Kaufmann, Leontyne Price, Maria Callas, Franco Corelli, and Leonard Warren will also be featured. The Long Island Cabaret Theatre, under the direction of Gary Dana and Geri DeJohn and musical director Sid Cherry, will present a new musical show entitled “The Music of Our Lives-The Bucket List!” This is an exuberant musical about all the things we want to do in our lives while we have the chance. The show features the talented troupe of 30 singers and dancers - the music and dancing are fantastic as is always. Don’t miss it!

The detective is asked to solve the mystery that includes a lengthy, but limited number of suspects who are on the train going from Istanbul to Calais, and presently brought to a standstill by an avalanche of snow that has come down over the track. Poirot’s investigation is solved in classic Agatha Christie fashion involving lots of intrigue, deception, and complications.

The steel pan (made from a steel oil drum) is a unique musical percussion instrument which was invented in Trinidad and Tobago. You will learn about the origins of this amazing simple instrument, how it evolved from African drums, and how it is made by hand. Then you will learn how to play some simple scales and a simple song using some of the 38 individual notes, including different techniques such as a strike and a roll! A handout will be provided for you to take home and to continue your instruction.
The steel pan is quickly gaining popularity in the United States and all countries around the world as a band and solo instrument. Its distinct, vibrant sound creates a "tropical" vibe which is now used in many genres of music!
