Night Shelter Next Monday

Hi Everyone,

Next Monday, the 10th, is our night to feed the folks at the Cabarrus County Salvation Army Night Shelter. The address is 45 Ashlyn Dr. SE Concord NC 28025. If you check in at the front office, they usually will open the side door (next to the parking lot) for you to unload the food. The group will need to have food to the church by 6:00 on Monday night. If you would like to drop it off beforehand, please place it in the kitchen labeled "YOUNG ADULT NIGHT SHELTER." We are invited to arrive at the shelter between 6:15 and 6:30 and have food ready to serve the residents at 7:00.

Thank you to everyone that is able to help with this ministry. Just a few reminders, you have to be over 16 to serve from inside the kitchen. Under 16 can help in the dining room. They would like help with running the dishes through their dishwasher. Staff should be able to help get you started. The group may ask you to pray with the residents.

If there are a few more that can sign up to help with food, that would be great.
