Bethel friends,

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.  When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.  Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.  Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. - Matthew 9:35-38

Carolina Cross Connection invites Bethel young adults to Service Weekend on April 4-6!  This weekend will be an opportunity to put faith into action by sharing God’s love, providing some home repairs for needy families of Cleveland and Lincoln Counties, and to grow in your walk with Christ.  No construction experience necessary!  Both a short-term local mission and "mini-CCC" experience, the Service Weekend will include:
  • Saturday & Half-day Sunday service project(s) for local families (wheelchair ramps, painting, yard work, minor repairs, and odd jobs)
  • Special programming, fellowship, worship and sharing
  • Building an close, faith-based camp community at Camp Loy White in Casar, NC.
  • Maximum capacity of 24 per weekend.  Small groups, friends, Sunday School classes, individuals ..... all are welcome!
The cost is $150 per person.  A $50 deposit is due at registration and the balance is due no later than Sat. March 15.  Cost will cover meals, lodging, tools and supplies.

Please visit www.carolinacrossconnection.org/weekends for more info and to register online.  Spread the word, and invite your friends!  Email me at ad...@carolinacrossconnection.org if you have any questions.
