Hi BOC,

In the spirit of Sarah’s encouragement of gathering “new and old friends” for activities, I invite anyone to join me and Keith for a night ski at Black Mountain on Wednesday March 11. It is their last free night of the season. We have gone twice this year and it is quite fun. It brings me back to my youth growing up in Western NY state and riding the ski bus for night skiing at Swain. I think we spent as much time in the lodge socializing as we did skiing.

By way of introduction, Keith and I moved to Newry to share a house with his dad, Steve Wight in July. We have very much loved “moving back” to Maine. We met at Bates College (classes of ‘89 and ‘90) through the Bates Outing Club (another BOC!) and have been having grand outdoor adventures ever since. I work at the Bethel branch of Norway Savings Bank and Keith provides support for his dad and keeps the home front going.

We have room for 2 more people in our van if you want to drive up with us, otherwise we can find a mutual time to meet at the lodge to enjoy some BOC runs together.
