Hi Bruce,
The Chisholm Ski Club is seeking volunteer help on Friday 1/30 and Saturday 1/31 for the Sassi Memorial race. Our Maine West Project Play racers are going to race. Maybe we could send some volunteers? Here are the details of their need, in case you are willing/able to forward it to the email list:

This Saturday, January 31st, the Chisholm Ski Club is hosting the Jr. Sassi and Sassi Memorial classical races, welcoming close to 500 Maine school kids for a great day of racing.

Regular skiers are absolutely still welcome — we'll have parking attendants on site in the morning to help keep arrivals smooth and stress-free. The nordic teams and skiers will be parking in the overflow parking lot.

The final event of the day will be the Maine State Team qualifier freestyle pursuit, and we'll work to keep everything running efficiently so everyone can enjoy their day on the mountain.

The first race starts at 09:00am. Stadium set up for the races will be at 07:00am. Breakfast sandwiches will be available in Muriel's Kitchen starting at 6:30am for Chisholm's early bird set-up crew. And as always, there will be hot lunch served all day for all the volunteers.

On Friday 1/30/26 at 10:30am, Roger Arsenault could use some volunteer help putting out V-boards, K markers, and fencing. He would also like to put fencing over by the ski patrol and parking lot for crowd control, and fencing by the lap track to prevent skiers and spectators from coming across the stadium.

Please meet Roger at Muriel's Kitchen on Friday at 10:30am. Lunch will be provided in Muriel's Kitchen for those helping out on Friday.

Please RSVP to: te...@chisholmskiclub.org if you are able to help on either or both of these days, so we know how many volunteers are coming and where to place volunteers on race day.

Thanks again for all you do.

This snow we are getting is going to make conditions awesome for a great race on Saturday.”

Thanks!
