Update - 2/8/2011

Bethany was not released today to come home.  They needed to do a couple more tests to ensure everything is working well and that pushed things over into tomorrow.  She did have a short episode this evening that could have turned into atrial fibrillation [AKA a-fib] (abnormal heart rhythm), but at the time of this writing, I haven't heard that it has.  The Dr was called and he was going to treat it with something that would reduce the chances of it becoming a-fib.

Braedon and cousin Lane are planning a party for her when she comes home.  I arrived home to cup cakes and another cake all decorated alike with sprinkles, valentine candies and a rose sitting next to them on the counter, a welcome sign over the door and a line of stuffed animals sitting on our couch holding welcome home signs.  I saw confetti on the counter and heard plans for more festivities.  (It looks like our six-year-old is out-romancing his daddy about 10 to 1.)  Judy is assisting the little party planners and helping their plans for things such as cakes and such to take shape.  Thank you Judy.  You're awesome!

Thank you for the awesome meals that are coming in via our church.  What a blessing!

Thank you again for your continued prayers.  We're SO ready to get Bethany back in pocket settle down to a less hectic routine.
