Transplant Update 10/17/2010

Bethany has had a good uneventful day.  She was up a lot today and continued to walk a lot in the halls. She has received training and the "owners manual" for her new kidney.  She has learned that we will have to be very diligent to keep her away from sickness and wash our hands very often in order to keep her from getting sick.

The Dr. told Bethany that she will likely be released from the hospital on Monday.

As for Mary, she also had a fairly uneventful day.  She rested a lot today.
