We had a bit of a scar today when Bethany's heart started into a-fib. It stayed in this irregular rhythm for about a little under 4 hours and then it self-corrected. The Drs are going to give her medication to keep this from happening, but they assured us that this is fairly normal for post-surgery patients. They wanted to keep he over-night for observation then they'll let her go home tomorrow.
Bethany was a bit discouraged during the episode so I took off work to be with her. She has since regained her courage and is in good form again.
Bethany's pain has been pretty good today. She didn't even take pain medications all day. This evening, however, she's getting a little bit of pain medication so she can sleep good.
Braedon came up to see her this evening. He has one more day to stage his homecoming welcome. :)
