I took Mary back in to see the Dr today for a checkup before she heads back home and when we came home we brought Bethany with us.  It was cute to watch them walk out of the hospital holding each others' arms.

Mary is doing much better today - for which we are glad.  She laughed a lot today.

Bethany got a lot of training today on how she will have to live in order to reduce the risk of rejecting her kidney.  We will have to be careful to keep her away from any bugs.  We will have to change our diet too.  It will be a real change, but it will certainly be worth it.

Both ladies are still walking a bit slow and they still have to be careful to not cough or laugh too much (because it is painful).

Following is an update directly from Mary's facebook page:
"Bethany made it home from the hospital early this evening!! I had a follow-up appmt with my surgeon so I hung out at the hospital with Bethany until she was released. We walked the halls a few times - she beat me! She even offered to push me down to the car in the wheelchair! I almost took her up on it, but I couldn't take that throw down from her. So we walked down together. Slow and steady!"
Thanks again for your prayers.
