Update 1/26/2011

Dear friends and family, 

Although Bethany is feeling better, she will be staying in the hospital for observation until after her heart surgery.  It's looking like she will be having surgery next week.  She has been up most of the days and is strong again.  She is up to receiving visitors and phone calls.  She will be having a couple procedures so visitors may wish to call ahead of time to find the best time to come. Over the past few weeks, Bethany and I have been learning about God's sovereignty and we believe that nothing comes our way without a distinct purpose.  Further more, we believe that God will bring glory to Himself through whatever circumstances happen in our lives.  That said, we are excited that He has chosen to use us to bring glory to Himself. We do not know how this will happen, but we are watching for His hand in all that transpires and we willingly offer ourselves up to Him for whatever purpose He chooses for our lives.  It is our prayer that God will be glorified through the events that transpire over the next few weeks.  May we be faithful.
