Bethany is getting anxious to get home. Her original goal was to be home 4 days after surgery and that was today. She feels ready to come home and the Drs are trying to get her released tomorrow (Tuesday), but that will depend on how soon they can get the follow-up care arranged.
Bethany has a large (and I DO mean large) sore on the side of her tongue from the ventilator tubes. The Dr says it will heal up fine, but it will be very very sore in the mean time. Additionally, she has a very hoarse voice (also from the ventilator tubes. Also, the Dr has ordered her to get dental work done ASAP after getting released. It looks like she will have a sore mouth for a little while.
Braedon is very excited to think she may be coming home tomorrow.
