Thank you Ken. My long time friend, Phil Mast, teaches the Lucie
Stern Wed. class (we have co-taught several classes over the past 20+
years) and he does a fine job. You seem to have a small number of
people on a drop-in basis which makes it hard for a teacher to commit
to-as most of us, myself included, currently teach nearly every night
of the week and count on our classes as our paying jobs. Drop-in
makes it very difficult. Here are the classes I know about that are
good quality and low cost.
Tuesday: Foothill College, $31 plus student fees, 6:30-9:30pm for
12-week series. A real bargain-even with an awful reg process (thank
you State of CA) and additional student fees plus $3 per time parking
fee. 2 dances per evening: Meringue, Waltz, Cha Cha, East Coast
Swing, Foxtrot, Tango, Rumba, Night Club Two Step and Salsa.
Intermediate and adv. also have instruction and practice in Viennese
Waltz, West Coast Swing, Bolero, Quick Step, Samba, Hustle, Bachata,
etc. Instructor: Donna Frankel (feel free to send interested students
to the lengthy email written to this group this morning.) 12345 El
Monte Rd., Los Altos Hills. Contact instructor for add code ASAP:

class first hour, intermediate 7:45-8:30pm) and practice, all the
above dances rotating basis. Phil Mast Instructor.
Friday: Friday Night Waltz-it isn’t every Friday night but most, price
is $12 for dance and classes. $10 for dance only from 9 pm to
midnight. $10 for students. 7:30-midnight. Teachers rotate-I have
taught here, too-and it certainly isn’t always waltz, but often
Vintage dance instruction the first 1.5 hours. Heavily Stanford

Alto-free parking in back.

coaching-lesson-students decide what 2 dances to learn-plus a party
mixer thrown in. Last Sunday of month is a free tea dance, open to
public-ladies need a partner or you will sit out too much. 2400 Grant

Starlight Ballroom- 5178 Moorpark Ave #60, San Jose, CA 95129 (at
Saratoga Ave.)
(408) 252-7000.
For better formatting-see attachments. My ballroom/Social dance class
had a summer field trip to Menlo Park where I taught Klezmer dances.
On the bottom I listed alternate field trips-where I got the above
list.
Hope this helps! Everyone should learn to dance-the healthiest thing
I know to keep you physically, mentally, emotionally and socially
happy-plus your chances of Alzheimer's are reduced nearly 50% if you
dance twice a week!
