Dear Dancers,
Our ADC instructors, Nikie and Isaac, are willing to continue with our dance lessons at Beth Am through the remainder of the summer, despite our sparse and inconsistent attendance from week to week. Thereafter (post Labor Day), we will evaluate whether continuation is sustainable, financially for their retention.
Personally, I enjoy their team teaching and feel that I am benefiting from our current instruction re: international Cha-Cha. However, I am not okay with paying for what amounts to individualized instruction due to the absence of other participants. Last Wednesday, only Susan and I showed up. Near individualized instruction is great but in this instance, it is by default, not election. This is not sustainable. In fairness to our instructors, I think it's reasonable to have a minimum of three equivalent couples per lesson as a matter of course. If we cannot achieve this going into the fall, my view is that we discontinue class on Wednesdays evenings.
Your thoughts?
