Hello everyone,

Unfortunately we're going to have to cancel tonight's class. Sorry to cancel so last minute. We also won't be having class July 4 Independence Day. Please let your friends know if they're not on this email list. We'll be back to our normal time/place Wednesday July 11 at 6:30p.

Kind regards,

Niki

Hello Everyone,

My name is Niki and along with Isaac (my partner, in crime!) we will be your new ballroom dance teachers for Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Important: we will hold class every week given that there are at least 6 people attending so please let me know if you won't be attending. I'll also have a sign up sheet at the beginning of each class so please sign in (each person) and provide your email if you're not already on the list. Class is $15 per person.

A little about me:  I am from Arete Dance Center (http://aretedancecenter.com/). I am fairly new to Arete (I've been dancing here for almost two years) but I have been dancing since I was 5 years old. I am Royal Academy of Dance ballet trained and I began Ballroom dancing as an adult. (Ask me anything!)

We will hold class every week and this week is waltz! We will cycle through a dance or two every 4 weeks.  I teach international style ballroom. However the patterns will include various styles.

This is a class with various levels of ballroom dancers and as such I'll be sure to teach to all levels, but we can always go deeper into technique for dancers who want to not just dance patterns but also learn how to lead/follow, and improve your technique(the look of the dance) in general.
I am open to suggestions so feel free to email me if you have any (constructive criticism is appreciated and welcomed).

Because of the difference in levels we will also be introducing a second Latin dance each series. This time we'll introduce Rumba.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,

Niki Henderson
