If anyone is available tonight (Friday) from 7 to 8 pm we will test the Beta 2 Skulltag (Doom2) server


Here are the instructions to pass on to your gamers for Saturday's LAN Party. Please note the server passwords :


Playing Skulltag (Classic Doom 2) on the Beta 2 Labs server

Open for business 6 pm to midnight, Saturday, March 26th, 2011

Install and open the Skulltag application and navigate to "Multiplayer".

Navigate to "Player Setup"
    Change your name
        Include your hackerspace in your name
        Example: Beta2labs_Playername
    Change your color
    Hit "esc" back to the Multiplayer menu

Navigate to the bottom of the menu to "Server Password" and enter: beta2lan
Navigate to "Join Password" and enter: hacker

Navigate back up to "Browse Servers"
    Set "Servers" to "Internet"
    Set "Gametype" to "Any Mode"
    Set "Sort by" to "Server Name"
    Navigate to list of Servers
        Scroll through names to find "--Beta2--"
        Hit "Enter" to select the server
    Navigate down to "Join Game!" and hit "Enter"
