This is a good idea. As long as we don't trip on legal issues this
could work.
We could screen public domain / creative commons / local artist films
with or without entrance fees and charge for food.
This could also be good marketing for B2L.

for small groups (15 or less) in the conference room. however for
bigger groups, getting one of the larger vacant stores shouldn't be an
issue. what films would you suggest? my thing was to show science
fiction, abstract and documentaries and shows. I think purchasing the
original medium would be ok if its not free/public domain. I propose
screenings every second and fourth saturday night and then a
discussion afterwards.
