Job Description:
The right candidate should be capable to manage a Web 2.0 collaboration community and work with a team with its members from different organizations and companies, locating in different time zones (U.S., India and China), and speaking in different languages (English and Chinese). We seek a highly motivated individual with experience and fanatical passion for blogging, micro-blogging and community participation leadership. This position is full time salaried with benefits. Knowledge on the non-profit sector will be a plus.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for management strategy and culture development
Defining and implementing the community operational plan with the endorsement of the working group members
Managing the content development and responsible for reaching appropriate content sharing agreement with partners
Maintaining partners referred by the working group and recruiting new partners along with the growth of the community
Working with Developer(s) and Designer(s) to define use model to meet technical, site needs
Working with volunteer program and internal communication managers for skill-based volunteer recruitment across different sites in China
Qualification:
2 years + demonstrated success in developing and managing online communities (Building web experiences, Social Media, etc.)
Experience in optimizing the delivery of web content and general digital marketing programs
Experience in developing web content strategies with understanding of content development lifecycle
Ability to analyze quantitative and/or qualitative data, and high proficiency in distilling massive amounts of data
Speak in fluent English, capable of working in an international and high demanding environment
Positive and can-do attitude
