Hey everyone :)
Hope that you are all well, and that you had enough time to relax during this weekend. It is now time to have a break, and take a brief look at the past week, and also, what's in store for the coming week!
Meeting with the Department of Psychology
On Friday, 9th May, a meeting between the Betapsi Executive Board and lecturers from the Department of Psychology was held. After the Betapsi EB and the lecturers introduced themselves, several issues concerning Betapsi, and all Psychology students, were discussed:
- Department of Psychology Conference
- Social Wellbeing Conference
- SSS and Psychology Lab sessions
- Involvement of Post graduate students
- Mature Students
- Exam Result Publication
- Involvement of BetaPsi with the Department
Betapsi, as the organisation representing all Psychology students, will strive to maintain a good relationship with the Department of Psychology, as this truly does benefit all Psychology students.
Pen Drives
Finally, the Betapsi 8Gb 'brain-shaped' pen drives have arrived!! These pen drives are small and pockatable, and also very cool to keep as keychains, necklaces, etc... If interested, contact any Betapsi exec member to get yours NOW! :D

IDAHO - International Day Against Homophobia
Since May 17th is the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT), We Are and Betapsi are collaborating in a campaign on campus.
Starting on Tuesday, 13th May, and ending on Thursday 15th May, in order to raise awareness on the significance of IDAHOT, and also awareness regarding Homophobia, Transphobia, and other social stigma that the LGBT society carries with it. A Photo Booth will be present on quad on Tuesday 13th & Thursday 15th. Workshops will also be held during the week. A bake sale will also organised at our stand throughout the week, starting on Tuesday 13th.
To reserve your places for the 'Theatre of the Oppressed', which is a highly interactive Workshop, which is being held on Wednesday 14th at 12pm, Kindly sign up below to attend and receive a certificate of participation!!! Meet us at our stand in Quad :)

The Official After Exam Bash
Betapsi is collaborating with many other organisations to give University students what they deserve after months of studying, and weeks of exams, AN AFTER EXAM BASH! This After Exams Bash promises to bring all University Students together in one massive celebration, as the sitting in stuffy classroom ends, and the anxious wait for results on sandy beaches starts! We've managed to secure a fantastic venue for this bash, with LAX Club at Numero Uno hosting us for the evening. Tickets at just €5! A super line-up is being put together for the occasion.
