We are pleased to inform you that the 1st International Congress of Cognitive Behavioral Coaching "From CBT to CBC" will take place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, on 12th-15th of June 2014 (http://www.iccbc2014.ro/). The Congress is supported by the International Association of Cognitive Behavioral Coaching (IACBC), the Romanian Association for Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapies (http://psihoterapiecbt.ro/), and the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at the Babeş-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca, one of the important promoters of the cognitive-behavioral approach in coaching. The Congress is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and supported by the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT), as a partner organization.
The main goal of the Congress is to encourage the transfer of evidence-based approaches to the coaching community, by encompassing specific applications of the cognitive-behavioral techniques to different coaching needs. The Congress will thus reinforce the CBT principles and integrate advancements from clinical psychology in CBC, while at the same time stimulate and educate for strong ethical standards.
We kindly ask you to consider supporting our congress by disseminating information about this event to your colleagues and members through website postings, newsletters or other communication means. They're just asking us to promote the event basically, through every media interface we have and in return they make us media partners. The only problem is that it's during exams so it's pointless to promote to our students. I suggest you email them back and say thank you for letting us know. We will share the event with our department however due to the fact that the congress happening during our examination period we do not see our promotion as fruitful to our students. Thank you...
