## The experiment
Over the past year, we have tried to create working groups to focus on three issues, data, development, and projects. Sadly, google groups just doesn't allow us to interlink them in the way we want them to exist.
Because our civic hacking future is dependent on the network of data, projects, and community expertise, we're decommissioning our google groups and migrating over to an interlocking forum powered by [discourse][1].
## How to post
All of you should have an invite to join the new dev list.
Once you are member of `talk.beta.nyc`, you can email `talk...@beta.nyc` and use this just like any other mailing list.
## Future
If you have ideas on how to make this developers corner better or our [projects page better][2], let us know in this thread.
*Note - we will make [BetaNYC-Dev][3] read-only shortly before [CodeAcross NYC 2015][4].*
