Chapter Update

Brothers,

 

I sent a message out two weeks ago concerning planning for the upcoming year.  I got a response from three people.  If you all are serious about working for this chapter then we have to do a better job communicating in a timely manner.  Even if you will not be here please let me know.  As long as you have access to the Internet you can contribute. As of this moment I haven't seen any reason to lift the suspension.  These are the same problems Ben presented to me before we met prior to the end of the semester.  

 

In addition, I have obtained a copy of the grade report for the chapter.  Please see attached.  This is very disappointing a 2.3 GPA does not represent the first and most important principle SCHOLARSHIP.  Brothers we have a lot of work to do.  Here are just a few assignments:

 

Update Constitution and Bylaws

Elections 

Leadership Training

New Member Policy Procedures and Intake Training/Workshops

Event Planning Training/Workshops

Chapter Academic Plan

Chapter Plan for Success (fundraising, events, community service, IOTA brand)

 

Please reply all if you have any comments or suggestions.  I am here to assist, not criticize but there must be a sense of urgency from YOU!

I agree Bro Proctor. I am currently researching if we had or have a chapter bylaws. I just can not recall where it may have been placed. Also, there is a file cabinet I started back in 2004 that should contain all documents saved and developed over the last 7-8 years. I am not sure who would have the cabinet. The information in the cabinet can be very helpful towards the rebuilding process. Thank you for your efforts..

Brandon couldn't go to orentation because he had to work same with will. Dewanye couldn't go because he had class during the time.
