Hello,
Hope all is well. As the summer break is quickly approaching, it will still be the organization’s responsibility to update all of its members of important information, policies and procedures for the upcoming 2013-2014 academic school year. With that in mind, please turn in the attached Summer Contact Sheet to ensure lines of communication with the Office of Greek Life. The Summer Contact Sheet can be emailed or submitted directly to me. Also below are important information you all will need to know:
At least one (1) representative from your organization must be in attendance at each New Student Summer Orientation session:
1. Friday, June 28, 2013
2. Friday, July 12, 2013
3. Friday, July 19, 2013
*****Please provide the Office of Greek Life the name and contact of the individuals for each session, 2 weeks in advance so we can provide housing if needed. Email owe...@cookman.edu with the names.
8o % of your chapter members must be present and in attendance at the Greek Life Leadership Retreat beginning Sunday, August 11, 2013 (more details forthcoming). I strongly encourage new members to be in attendance.
8o % of your chapter members must be present and in attendance at WELCOME DAYS 2013 (Formerly Fall Orientation), beginning Thursday, August 15-Sunday, August 18, 2013. More information is forthcoming but please be prepared to help new students move into their residence halls, guide parents and guests on where to go, provide an informational table on your organization, prepare a brief introduction speech about your organization, a mini stroll and pass out giveaways at the New Student Lock-In and more.
By June 1st, 2013, the Office of Greek Life will send out important information on Fall Intake, Registration, etc.
