Wonderful to see this picture!

I thought we Synergites were pretty wild and crazy (I even lived with some folks in tents up on Skyline for one quarter), but, reading your stories, we may have been tame in comparison.

The wild adventures we all lived through is the Stanford that I remember with great fondness.

Thanks...I think this is the kind of membership where you know whether you belong or not....Beta Chi was more than just a place...it really didn't matter if or when you lived there or not.  Synergy seemed to keep the spirit!

I do remember the Beer machine on the porch...25 cents for a Rainier Ale. And, FYI, altho I never lived in tents off Skyline, I did live up there for the last 40 years!  Not far from Kesey's Honor Camp incarceration in the mid '60s.

We could have a quiz show at the reunion to decide which group was crazier.  My first question would be:  "Were you ever raided by the FBI?"

My mom was up visiting the day that we were staked out by 14 (number?) undercover cars which led to the unfortunate arrest of a non member but hanger on doing a "favor" for one of the members who was out of town.  I still have the Daily article and/or my mom's letter to the editor somewhere, can't remember which.  It was big news on campus as the administration was not notified.  I lived across the hall from the action on the third floor at the time.  The funny things was that nobody thought it strange that all these cars were in the parking lot all day including a pick up truck and a taxi.

How exactly did we get rid of those 13 suitcases?  As I recall, the total weight of the suitcases was 1 oz times the number of students on campus.  Or was it 2 ounces?  Such a long time ago.  Memories fade.

I think it is on my office computer. I also have some pictures of Bob Marusi, Brade Zebal, Carl Bratenahl and Becky Romney....BradZebal too.
It's funny how nowadays you cannot walk five feet w/o somebody taking a picture but nobody seemed to be taking many pictures back then.
