Here's what I'm finding in my PsycExplorerHD app: I have a section
containing YouTube videos. If users tap on an item and then tap on
the title of the item the YouTube player will come up and play
normally. While the video is playing if users tap on the two opposite-
facing arrows in the bottom right of the YouTube player the video play
nicely in full screen on the ipad. However, if users then tap on the
screen and then tap on the "Done" button nothing will happen. Exiting
the app and returning to it will only return the user to the YouTube
full screen mode. The only way to return to the app is to click on
the facing arrows in the upper right of the YouTube player. This
brings you back to the smaller version of the YouTube video player.
Then the "Done" button will function.

This is definitely going to be frustrating for some users who may not
figure out the need to hit the arrows inside the play area. They will
naturally expect the Done button to work and when it doesn't the app
appears to be locked up. The only way to return to the app home
screen is to turn the iPad completely off and back on again.

Michael,

I'm not seeing the behavior you saw (you may have since resolved it). When I tap a video, the YouTube app launches. I can expand the video as you described, but when I tap "Done" the video scales back down.

Are your videos opening in the YouTube app? If not, do you mind sharing how you avoid that?

Thanks.
