For whatever reason, I'm finding myself tweaking the plist in the iPad app a lot more than I did with the iPhone app. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for editing the plist file.

I've noticed, for example, that Xcode's editor can copy only a single element at a time (i.e. I can't shift-click to select and copy multiple entries).

I also don't see any easy way to sort the values.

Does anyone know if there's a better way to edit the plist than Xcode's editor? Is Xcode 4 any better?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I don't know of a good plist editor -- I wish I did. The best thing about editing in Xcode (versus Property List Editor) is that you can do a Find in the plist. Otherwise it's still kind of a pain.

PS I'm not surprised you're doing more editing with the iPad app -- there are many more customization options.

I gave this one http://www.nightproductions.net/prefsetter.html
to a client who wanted to update their NGConfigs without my involvement. They like it. I also offered them this one http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/plisteditpro/ which I liked better, but they didn't want to "waste" the money.

I'm not bitter.
